Opening Day
Sixth of December 2022, Iron Born opens its doors to the general public. Its been a long time in the making but we finally made it! All those months of planning coming to fruition culminating in an inclusive, clean and professional space that is now the home of the Iron Born Barbers.
Firstly we would like to personally thank each and every person that has come through our doors since opening, the support has been overwhelming and we can’t thank you all enough. It warrants a special mention to a couple of people, without whom, we wouldn’t be open in this space today – Jo and Steve. Thanks for all of your help and for making this a reality.
Now to the parts of the blog that I’m sure are way more interesting and pertinent.
Where the Hell Are You?!
I’m glad you asked!
We are located in a precinct known locally as “the top shops” on Windermere Avenue, Millbrook, Southampton SO16 9GA.
You can’t miss us. Our misfit brand sticks out a mile amongst the surrounding artisan businesses, all of whom have been incredibly welcoming to us.
When Can I Get Inside?
Our hours of business are:
Tuesday to Friday – 10:00am until 8:00pm
Saturday – 8:30am until 4:00pm
Sunday & Monday – Closed
As we are in the midst of December, its only fair that we include our Christmas opening hours:
23rd – 10:00am until 8:00pm
24th – 8:30am until 4:pm
25th to 27th – Closed
28th – 10:00am until 8:00pm
29th – 10:00 until 8:00pm
30th – 10:00 until 8:00pm
31st – 8:30 until 4:00pm
1st to 3rd – Closed
4th onwards – regular opening hours resume

What About Parking Though?
FREE ALL DAY LONG!
There is a car park just outside our shop with plenty of free parking spaces.
I Don’t Have a Car!
No problem, there is a Voi scooter parking barrier in front of our shop window.
Busses have stops directly opposite the shop on both sides and the following busses run through Windermere Avenue:
7 & 18 Bluestar Busses
2 First bus
